ITERA secures footing in Texas

Dune Energy, an American subsidiary of ITERA, has acquired 95% of the stock of Voyager Partners Ltd (VP), a Texas company, which owns a license to produce 45 billion cubic ft of confirmed oil and gas (in gas equivalent). The deal is worth USD 56 million. This is what Dune Energy press service reported yesterday. In May 2004, ITERA acquired a 78% stake in Dune Energy for USD 12 million. A year later the capitalization of the company went up to USD 120 million. To a great extent, this resulted from the acquisition by Dune Energy of companies that owned production for licenses in Texas.
