A Grand Meeting of extended scientific and technical council was held at the Mining Institute on the occasion of ITERA’s specialized lecture room opening. Igor Makarov, President of the Board of Directors of ITERA Oil and Gas Company, was awarded with a Trustee Certificate and a golden badge of Russian mining engineer.
According to the Mining Institute press-service, Vladimir Litvienko, the Principal, stressed the importance of cooperation between the Institute and one of the largest oil and gas companies as an example of science, education and production integration.
ITERA is the only private gas company in the CIS and the Baltic States, that has an experience in exporting natural gas. ITERA was established in 1992. The main operating areas in Russia are Yamal-Nenetsk Autonomous District, Sverdlovsk Region, and Kalmykia.
