Eduard Rossel, Governor of Sverdlovsk Region, said that ITERA would fulfill the Sverdlovsk Region energy program. The decision was made during his meeting with ITERA management.
According to Mr. E.Rossel, over the last 5 years Sverdlovsk Region has completely exhausted the power generation capacities, inherited from the Soviet period. Power consumption during that period grew half as much and according to the latest information it is expected to double in the next 5 years.
“ITERA has been a strategic gas supplying partner in Sverdlovsk region for 6 years and has never failed” - Eduard Rossel said. Today, ITERA is ready to add 300 kilometers of gas pipeline networks to the 400 kilometers constructed in the region annually. With such a pace we will fulfill the Sverdlovsk Region gasification program in 3-4 years. The overall gas pipelines length will reach 3,500 kilometers.”
