On February 3, a Centre of Child’s Oncology and Hematology was opened in Yekaterinburg. The Centre was based on Regional Children’s Hospital #1.
Eduard Rossel, Sverdlovsk Region Governor, in his speech at the ceremony underlined that it is the first state-of-the-art hospital in Russia, which satisfies the highest international standards.
A German company was the main contractor for the construction of 5-floor building. Construction investor was Sverdlovsk Region Governor’s Program Foundation. A number of enterprises operating in Sverdlovsk Region made charitable contributions to the Fund. Uralsevergaz, ITERA’s subsidiary in Sverdlovsk region, also contributed a donation to the Centre construction.
Sverdlovsk Region Governor expressed his gratitude to investors for their involvement into such a crucial social project in the sphere of healthcare.
