ITERA Oil & Gas Company and Uralchimplast Group of Companies signed an agreement on gas processing plant construction. The plant will process gas into organic products and will be located in Uralchimplast site, Nizhny Tagyl.
The first step of the parties was signing of the documents for association of a methanol plant with the estimated annual capacity of 400,000 tons. Each partner has a 50% share in the established joint venture ZAO UralMethanolGroup.
The EUR 110-120 mln methanol project start is 2008. The project is to be financed by Partners’ equity and borrowed funds.
ITERA will make Kalmykia comparable with Tyumen Region. The company is to invest $25 million in oil prospecting in the Republic.
