Trubnaya Metallurgicheskaya Kompaniya /ÒÌÊ/ and ITERA Oil and Gas Company have made a long-term cooperation agreement. The partners will work together to cover the tubular products demand of ITERA group companies from TMK plants’ supplies. The news was reported Thursday by the company’s press-service; no details of the agreement were specified.
The parties intend to undertake coordinated steps to develop and introduce new types of products, as well as carry out pipe manufacture and supply orders. In 2005 TMK plants shipped nearly 4 Kt of pipe to Mezhregionkomplekt LLC, ITERA group purchasing entity. Founded in 2001, ÒÌÊ is the largest Russia’s pipe manufacturer and exporter, with cumulative annual output 2.84 million tons in 2005.
At present, TMK exports its products to over 60 countries around the world. Its consumers list includes such companies as Shell, AGIP, Repsol, Saudi Aramco, Wintershall, Anadarko Petroleum. In Russia, TMK’s customers are: Gazprom, Transneft, LUKoil, Rosneft, ÒÍÊ-ÂÐ, Surgutneftegaz and other leading oil and gas companies. Apart from oil and gas industry, TMK’s pipe products are used in other sectors, such as chemical and petrochemical industry, machine building, power engineering, civil engineering, agriculture.
TMK’s industrial facilities are located in Russia and in Romania: “Volzhsky Trubny Zavod”; "Seversky Trubny Zavod"; "Taganrogsky Metallurgichesky Zavod"; "Sinarsky Trubny Zavod"; SC TMK-ARTROM SA; SC C.S. Resita SA.
