Purgaz, a closed JSC, (Gubkinsky, YaNAO) has been awarded Euronorm, an international prize.
The Euronorm international prize victory ceremony had taken place in the Council of Europe headquarters. This prize is considered to be a sort of conformity to international norms of management and quality certificate. Purgaz was among the winners. This company is developing Gubkinsky gas field in Purovsky Region. Purgaz was awarded this prize for the substantial contribution it had made into the environmental safety of facilities of gas producing industry and the implementation of international norms for process control.
The Euronorm international prize is awarded to Ruhrgas, Siemens, Renault, Surgutneftegaz, Magnitogorsk Smelter Industrial Complex, as well as certain other leading industrial enterprises of Russia.
Purgaz was established in 1998 for industrial development of the Cenomanian stage of Gubkinsky field in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. Proven reserves of gas in the field are 400 billion cu m. Purgaz (Gazprom and ITERA are its founders) owns the Gubkinsky field development license, while Noyabrskgazdobycha operates the production.
