Boards of Directors of ITERA International Group of Companies (ITERA Group) and ITERA Oil and Gas Company have met to discuss 2006 business plan progress, draft 2007 business plan and basic lines for the Group of Companies’ restructuring.
Igor Makarov, Chairman of ITERA Group Board of Directors, noted that the key parameters of the last year’s business plan had been fulfilled.
With regard to growth prospects, I. Makarov pointed out that the group would keep pursuing the strategy of restructuring so that the group’s companies become distinctly dedicated to specific businesses. The core business of ITERA, i.e. gas business, remains unchanged. The main efforts will be concentrated on it. All the remaining business lines will be progressing independently of the gas business. Any cross-subsidies will be ruled out.
The Board of Directors approved the basic lines for ITERA Group restructuring and its business plan to the extent that concerns the gas business.
