The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) had registered ITERA Oil and Gas Company, Ltd. as a member of the Russian Business Charter.
Igor Makarov, Chairman of the Board of ITERA Oil and Gas Company, Ltd., in commenting on the event, stated, “for the Company, as a socially oriented business entity, the accession to the Charter is a great honor and big responsibility”. “RUIE that has developed this document, - he stressed,- is doing a very important work on creation the standards for business behavior, and corporate responsibility of business, building the relationship between business and institutions of civil society, and an efficient partnership with the state”.
It is worth noting that the Charter is open to all who believes that “the successful development of the entrepreneurial activity is impossible without sustainable development of society and is its integral part”. Business is responsible for improving social peace, security and well-being of citizens, human rights and environmental friendliness.
The Social Charter, acknowledged as a national document, that corresponds to the UNO Global Agreement, experts believe, produces positive effect on the development of domestic business.
