As of today, there are as many as 47 development wells drilled in the field, a 40 million cm/day gas processing unit complete with ancillary facilities has been installed, a 32.8-km tie-in line laid to connect the field to Zapolyarnoye-Urengoi gas pipeline system. In addition, built from scratch were a 10-MW gas turbine power station, power grids, access motor road and in-field roads, water intake and water treatment facilities, industrial base components and a field shift camp.
Test mode gas supply commenced April 3, 2007 from Beregovoye into Gasprom’s Main Gas Transport System demonstrated that all the field’s systems were functional and the field was ready for commercial operation. Before the end of this year, Sibneftegaz stands a chance of producing from Beregovoye gas condensate field some 5 bcm of gas.
