A solemn ceremony of investing the Personality-2007 national prize had taken place in Petrovsky hall of the Great Kremlin Palace on February 20, 2008.
Prominent state and public figures, representatives of culture and business elites, regional leaders became prizewinners in various nominations.
Igor Makarov, Chairman of the Board of ITERA Oil and Gas Company, got the prize for his contribution in the development of gas industry.
As ITERA International Group of Companies’ Press Service informed REGIONS.RU, the Company jointly with Gazprom commissioned Beregovoye gas and condensate field in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and a gas start-up complex in Bratsky gas condensate field in the Irkutsk Region in 2007, the year of the Company’s 15th anniversary. The Company has been supplying enough natural gas to Sverdlovsk Region to meet its entire demand in this fuel for the last nine years.
