The project of a Minsk-City multipurpose facility shall be presented at an investment forum in London this November 16-19. Sergei Kiselev, General Director of SOOO Minsk-City, a managing company, told a BELTA correspondent.
Igor Makarov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ITERA International Group of companies, shall present the project to participants. The Company is the strategic investor in the Project. The Minsk-City 3D presentation shall be assisted by a printed text presentation.
An international competition for the best Minsk-City construction concept is underway. According to the project, the first quarter of apartment houses shall be completed before 2011. The entire Minsk-City with a business center, shopping and recreation center, residential areas for 60 thousand people and a network of social infrastructure facilities is to occupy 318 hectares. The plan is to construct the total of 2 million sq. m of apartments and 500 thousand sq. m of commercial real estate. Construction of Minsk-City is planned for the period until 2020. The indicative cost of the Project is US$ 5 billion.
Moreover, ITERA shall present to foreign investors a project of the Business-Center on Maksima Tanka Street in Minsk. The construction has started. The first high-rise apartment house in Belarus shall be constructed there (116 m high, 30 stories). The Business-Center shall include two towers (43 and 54 stories). The total cost of the project is about US$400 million.
